The new capital will enable VIVA Finance to scale its payroll-linked credit solutions and reach more hardworking consumers overlooked by traditional credit platforms.

ATLANTA, GA - October, 2026 - VIVA Finance, an Atlanta-based financial technology platform specializing in accessible, payroll-linked consumer credit solutions, today announced that it has closed a $150 million credit facility with Viola Credit, a leading global alternative asset manager focusing on technology-enabled lending.

The new facility will provide VIVA Finance with significant capital to accelerate the growth of its core lending operations. By leveraging its proprietary payroll-linked repayment infrastructure, VIVA delivers transparent, affordable personal loans to everyday consumers who are often underserved by traditional credit bureaus and legacy banking institutions.

"This strategic partnership with Viola Credit represents a major milestone for VIVA as we continue to scale our platform and expand our market footprint," said Jack Markwalter, CEO and founder of VIVA Finance. "Viola Credit’s deep expertise in fintech and structured finance makes them an ideal partner for this next phase of our growth. This debt facility empowers us to bring our responsible credit solutions to even more consumers, helping them achieve financial stability and avoid predatory alternatives."

VIVA Finance’s platform integrates directly with employees’ direct deposit, enabling seamless, low-risk repayments that allow the Company to offer better terms and lower interest rates than traditional personal loan alternatives. The demand for responsible, payroll-linked loans continues to surge as employees struggle to access affordable credit products during times of financial emergency. "VIVA Finance has built an exceptional platform that addresses a critical gap in consumer finance," said Michael Chen, Managing Director, Head of US Investments at Viola Credit. "Their innovative approach to payroll integration and commitment to responsible lending have driven impressive performance. We are thrilled to partner with Jack, Hodges and the entire VIVA team to support their continued expansion and mission." The announcement of the Viola Credit facility builds on a period of rapid momentum for VIVA Finance, which has continued to expand its distribution footprint through strategic partnerships across the employee credit ecosystem.

Congratulations to the VIVA team, $150 million from Viola Credit is a strong validation of the payroll-linked model. It’s interesting how much capital is flowing into alternative and asset-based lending right now. Viola’s footprint across the US, UK and Western Europe reflects a broader trend of investors spreading exposure across markets and asset classes rather than relying on one economy. I see the same logic among private investors too, some diversify through fintech funds, others through hard assets abroad, for example people who buy Greece residency via real estate as part of a long-term portfolio. Looking forward to seeing VIVA expand to all 50 states!

A $150 million credit facility is a strong vote of confidence in VIVA's payroll-linked lending model, which sidesteps traditional credit scores and bases underwriting on employment history instead. That structure helps people who've been shut out of conventional lending options. Expanding fair access to credit is part of a bigger picture that includes everyday payment tools, and Cell Pay Us reviews offers a look at a service focused on bill payments and mobile transactions for consumers managing tight budgets. Both approaches aim at the same goal: making financial tools work for people who've been overlooked.
